In 1978, it was the combined efforts of Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank that formulated a winning idea to transform the shopping lifestyle of the United States of America into a complete innovative mechanism. Within three years of its establishment, the company went public and was listed on NASDAQ. Later it moved to the New York Stock Exchange in 1984 and grew immensely. In 1989 they celebrated their 100th store opening and post that released their first international store in Canada. With a view towards expansion, the corporation acquired The Home Way in 2006 at China. With their international presence, The Home Depot has only grown more stable and stronger in more ways than one by providing exceptional customer service that is amalgamated with the best competitive rates in the industry.
